Hi, I am a native of The Crescent City (New Orleans, LA), where I picked up my first camera at a very young age and was hooked. Growing up, I began shooting landscapes and pictures of family and friends.
I’ve been interested in photography and art since I was a child. I started on my journey in photography while using my Dad's old Polaroid camera. My parents saw the talent early on and gave me my first film camera at the age of 6. I loved shooting pictures of people and had lots of subjects to photograph, including my nine siblings. I worked on my high school yearbook and college newspaper, and organized photography groups.
I studied at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, where I received my BA, I also have a MBA and a BS in Graphic Arts.
Over the years, I’ve placed in numerous photography competitions and for the past three years I've had the honor of photographing the South of Market Bare Chest Calendar (2007, 2008 and 2009). The calendar raises money to help AIDS organizations in the San Francisco Bay area.
